May 2021 Monthly Challenge Round-up

Thanks to everyone who submitted a visualization for the May Kentucky Derby challenge. We had a great mix of new & old Sports Viz Sunday folks this month and we appreciate the participation!

Scott created two different visualizations for this month's challenge. They're both great entries and you can see them on his Tableau public page.

It is great to see another challenge submission from Megan this month. Check out her visualization that was built with matplotlib, Procreate, and Illustrator.

Be sure to take a look at Brett's submission created with TIBCO Spotfire. This is an easy way to explore the trainer & jockey relationships and winning times by track conditions.

Nicolas used map layers & a curved timeline in this Tableau public submission. I love seeing the different uses of map layers by the community. Great work!

Adam consistently creates unique visualizations and this challenge submission is a great example of that.

Thanks Albin for participating in your first SportsVizSunday challenge. Great work on this Tableau public viz, I love the clean design and the comparison between Baffert & Jones.

Thanks David for participating in your first SportsVizSunday challenge! Be sure to explore this Tableau public visualization, there is a lot of information packed into this viz.

It is great to see another visualization from Dennis this month. Check out this timeline on the track on Tableau public!

Ryan used Tableau public to visualize the winning times by year & track conditions. I like the design and color choices on this viz!

Thanks everyone for participating in the May challenge and don't forget the June challenge is Football European Championship.
